Responsibilities

  • Review, validate documentation and process sales orders through Salesforce
  • Provide support, guidance and end user training on sales systems, processes and procedures to Sales including onboarding new hires
  • Create, manage, optimize and maintain Salesforce data and records as required and apply the existing processes
  • Develop and create customized Salesforce reports and dashboards
  • Delivery operations including issuing software license keys, tracking/closing work orders and tracking usage of products
  • Create new reporting capabilities and respond to ad hoc reporting requests as needed
  • Perform administrator functions including user management, profiles and roles setup, permissions, assignment rules, queues, license management, and capacity and storage management
  • Create and customize record types, page layouts, fields, apps, tabs, profiles, security, and approval processes
  • Ensure data integrity; experience with data manipulation, cleaning, and de-duplication
  • Keep apprised of new Salesforce features and functionality and providing recommendations for process improvements
  • Review, testing and deployment of Salesforce releases


Preferred skills:

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (must be highly adept with Outlook and Excel)
  • Competent MS Excel skills with ability to learn & develop these in conjunction with PowerPoint
  • Highly accurate with attention to detail

General

  • Must be highly adaptable and able manage a variety of tasks with minimal supervision and shifting priorities
  • Flexible attitude and approach to work, particularly at peak financial period ends / quarter ends
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with the technology industry is highly preferred
  • Must be a team player and willing to collaborate with cross function teams
  • Proactive attitude, takes initiative and ownership of key tasks and objectives, sees tasks through to conclusion


Education:
We prefer college-educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
