Tribalco is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will have experience in Land Mobile Radio, Microwave, Cellar, and WiFi.  Candidate must be energetic, proactive and goal-oriented.  This position will support  our clients in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The Project Manager needs to have a minimum of 10 years’ experience building full range of RF wireless technology solutions.  Must be able to design, engineer, produce full list of equipment and material, produce detailed drawings, and develop system design and installation plans. Must be able to manage production of deliverables, site coordination, and construction of towers, installation of generator power plants, and installation and commissioning of conventional and trunked LMR systems. Must be willing to work in the EMEA Area of Responsibilities.  Highly desirable to have experience with Motorola LMR products. 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan implementation of LMR network upgrades, trunked and conventional, and microwave PtP backhaul solutions.
  • Produce project design plans, installation plans and schedules.
  • Manage construction of site infrastructure to include towers, fencing, shelters, cable management, radio systems infrastructure, and backup generator and ATS.
  • Manage delivery, installation, configuration, commissioning, training and production of engineering/as build drawings.
  • Manage production and submission of all contract deliverables and provide project status reports and presentations.
  • Lead and direct numerous projects, which may require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration and interaction with customer executives.
  • Interface with customer executive level management..
  • Present project status and issues to customer executive level personnel through formal presentations.
  • Conducts regular meetings documenting current status of project including technical, schedule and financial issues that may be present.
  • Responsible for high level project estimates/budgets.
  • Recommend improvements for the project management process.
  • Assist in defining strategic objectives and implementing service delivery processes, metrics and reporting requirements.
  • Manages projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, distributors, and vendors.
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the project over the entire project life cycle life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close)
  • Responsible for assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources as needed, and developing a schedule to ensure timely completion of the project
  • Manage financial aspects of the project against assigned budgets

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in Land Mobile Radio, Microwave, Cellar, and WiFi.
  • Seven (7) years of recent specialized experience.
  • Highly desirable to have experience with Motorola LMR products. 
  • Knowledge of Land Mobile Radio (LMR)
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office applications and Project Management tools.
  • Broad base of technology and business experience including strategy, design, implementation, operations for application development organizations.
  • Knowledge of project life cycles and project methodology.
  • Experience in managing projects related to infrastructure preferred.
  • Understand and execute IT Service Delivery processes including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management.
  • RF Engineer Level IV with Motorola Project 25 (P-25) specific knowledge (DESIRED)

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s of Science degree (Physics/Computer Science/Management Information Systems with Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Telecommunications) with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
  • Technical Associates degree with additional 5 years’ experience can be accepted in lieu of Bachelors of Science
  • A PMP or major certification plus

Clearance:

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Active Secret Government Security Clearance is required.
