Tribalco is seeking a qualified Operations Specialist with military tactical rescue experience and hands-on experience teaching courses in one or more of the following: confined space, rope rescue, structural collapse rescue, light vehicle extrication, or heavy vehicle extrication in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1006.
Responsibilities
• Will be a primary or secondary instructor for TCCC CASEVAC, TR IV, and custom courses
• Assists in the development of custom rescue courses
• Assists with the creation of training guides, syllabi, outlines, and manuals when needed
• Coordinates with POCs for training locations and equipment when needed
• May handle the administration and organization of paperwork upon course completion
Desired Skills
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in military tactical rescue
• Minimum 1-year experience teaching hands-on courses for one or more of the following disciplines: First responder or higher certification (or military equivalent)
• First responder or higher certification (or military equivalent)
• Maintain an active US Passport
• Must be able to meet travel requirements remain in a seated position for travel inside and outside of the United States, with most flight legs <5 hours, and occasional flight legs up to 10 hours
• Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to teach students Technical Rescue, in varying outdoor weather conditions, for extended durations of time
Compensation
• $50-70/hour
• The above hourly rate range is a guideline; however, compensation is determined by a number of factors, including the scope of the position and the candidate's experience, education, certifications, training, skills, and market factors Prevailing wage rates will also be taken into account
