About the Role | About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior AWS Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation cloud foundation services on the AWS platform and migrating workloads from On-premises to AWS Cloud. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in building and deploying cloud environments using AWS Control Tower, Landing Zone Accelerator, and Transit Gateway and cloud migration. Strong expertise in network and security architecture, as well as disaster recovery planning, is essential. |
Job Responsibilities | · Design and architect highly available, secure, and scalable cloud foundation services on AWS using industry best practices and AWS Well-Architected Framework principles. · Implement and configure AWS Control Tower and Landing Zone Accelerator to establish a multi-account AWS environment with appropriate guardrails, best practices, and centralized management. · Design and deploy Transit Gateway solutions for secure and efficient network connectivity between AWS accounts, on-premises environments, and other cloud resources. · Architect and implement robust network and security solutions, including VPCs, subnets, routing tables, security groups, network ACLs, and other AWS networking and security services. · Develop and implement disaster recovery strategies and architectures using AWS services such as Route 53, AWS Backup, and AWS Site-to-Site VPN to ensure business continuity and data protection. · Lead and oversee cloud migration initiatives, including assessment, planning, and execution of migrating on-premises workloads to the AWS cloud environment. · Evaluate and recommend appropriate migration strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor, etc.) based on application requirements and business objectives. · Design and implement migration pipelines, automation scripts, and tooling to streamline and accelerate the migration process. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure alignment with organizational goals and requirements. · Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and knowledge transfer to the team, fostering best practices and continuous learning. · Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and industry trends to ensure the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and solutions. · Participate in the development of cloud governance policies, standards, and procedures to maintain a secure and compliant cloud environment. · Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure the cloud infrastructure adheres to security, performance, and cost optimization requirements. |
Mandatory Skills | · Proven expertise in AWS Control Tower, Landing Zone Accelerator, Transit Gateway, and other AWS foundation services. · Strong knowledge of network and security architectures, including VPCs, subnets, routing tables, security groups, and network ACLs. · Experience in designing and implementing disaster recovery strategies and architectures on AWS. · Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK. · Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools. · Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. · Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. |
Required Education | · Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. |
Required Experience | · Minimum 10+ years of experience in designing and deploying cloud solutions, with at least 6 years of hands-on experience with AWS services. · AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty are highly desirable. |

Compensation & Benefits
Trianz compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay ranges between USD 160,000- 180,000. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Trianz also offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, FSA, EAP, 401(k) with Company matching, unlimited PTO, flexible schedule, and professional development assistance.
