Summary: This position operates in a professional based collaborative environment and must have the ability to timely produce thorough, accurate work with many competing demands, deadlines, and distractions. The position uses standard equipment such as phones, computers, copiers/printers and filing cabinets. Noise level is moderate.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with a primary focus on Microsoft Business Central development and strong secondary skills in Azure cloud native development using .NET technologies.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions that align with our business objectives. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an individual who is passionate about technology, possesses a deep understanding of Microsoft Business Central, and has a proven track record in Azure cloud native development.
Essential Functions:
Microsoft Business Central Development:
- Work with the Principal engineer on the design, development, and implementation of Microsoft Business Central solutions to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Business Central applications with other enterprise systems.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of Business Central applications.
Azure Cloud Native Development:
- Utilize Azure services and cloud-native technologies to design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure solutions.
- Develop and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Design and implement microservices architecture and serverless computing solutions on the Azure platform.
.NET Development:
- Leverage .NET technologies for both Microsoft Business Central and Azure cloud native development.
- Develop reusable and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Maintaining and enhancing existing applications using the Microsoft stack.
- Migrating applications to Azure Cloud, Build/Release pipelines using azure DEVOPS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to .NET applications.
Required Experience:
- 2+ years proven experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Dynamics 365 Business Central extension development using AL.
- 4-7 years of professional experience in software engineering
- Systems integration experience using APIs or web services.
- Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and patching financial systems.
- Proficiency in SQL Server database development.
- Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and patching financial systems.
- Experience in developing and executing complex data conversions.
- Basic financial system domain knowledge
Required Education:
- Four-year college degree in Computer Science or related field. Additional equivalent years of experience in Information Technology can be substituted for degree
