Trek is hiring for a Receiving department associate – The individual hired will report directly to the Receiving department Team Lead and will work with varying levels of management in multiple departments daily. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively, be task/detail oriented, have high energy/drive, be a critical thinker, and have fun while working for the greatest bike company on earth! 

 

Peak Season: March October

Starting Pay is $15.00/hour (potential of additional incentives up to $16.50 total)
 

Starting Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, Hours 7am-3:30 pm 
  • Overtime as needed

 

Warehouse Job Duties:

  • Accurately verify and receive inbound purchase orders from a variety of vendors 
  • Utilize MHE to efficiently stock inventory into forward picking bays and overstock locations
  • Communicate directly with freight carriers to verify and unload/load freight.
  • Assist the Inventory department with maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Slotting and profiling of new and current SKU’s
  • Sets priorities for themselves to ensure task completion, coordinates work activities with others in their workgroup
  • Has in-depth knowledge of work processes and tools within own area
  • Applies expertise to solve standard and non-standard problems within own area
  • Resolves day-today or routine problems using defined processes
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves to help when needed to meet production deadlines
  • Builds confidence and respect of others through a positive and energizing style
  • Willingness to cross-train in multiple departments and work as needed in other warehouse functions
  • Promotes safety and holds themselves accountable to ensure safety compliance

 

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Experience using a warehouse management system
  • MHE certified or willing to become certified
  • Strong communication skills
  • Direct experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
