Position Summary:

The Regional Visual Manager (RVM) reports directly into the Visual Merchandising Manager. The RVM is responsible for maintaining the Trek brand image throughout the assigned region through visual merchandising, assuring brand consistency, visual merchandising standards and training. The RVM will manage a team of District Visual Merchandisers (DVM) that will help support brand initiatives, training, and projects. The RVM works with Trek District Managers, and Store Managers within those districts, in order to assure proper visual standards as a tool to build business, meet & exceed sales goals and ensure consistency in Trek DOTS locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Always thinking bigger than the barn during visits with District Managers and District Visual Merchandisers.
  • The RVM is responsible for the communication of all visual directives from Trek HQ to all District Managers, Store Managers and Visual DRIs.
  • Oversee the visual presentation within the assigned region.
  • Conduct routine store visits within the assigned region.
  • Train store management and staff on the visual standards.
  • Facilitate Visual Merchandising Workshops throughout the region.
  • Partner with Implementation, Retail Ops, Buying and other cross functional partners on Store Openings, Relocations and Acquisitions.
  • Provide guidance and support to the DVMs on large scale projects.
  • Travel with DVMs in their respective market once a quarter.
  • Recap market visits with District Managers and District Visual Merchandisers and the Visual Merchandising Manager.
  • Manage visual budgets for their respective region.
  • Ensure that the best team is on the field and the right team in on the bus.
  • Build strong working relationships with the Sales & Buying Regional Managers.
  • 70+% Travel Required.

Requirements:

  • 6 to 8 years of retail experience.
  • 2 to 3 years of management experience.
  • 4 to 6 years of visual merchandising experience.
  • 2 years of visual management training.
  • Full understanding of brand integrity.
  • Advanced communication skills; able to communicate with all levels of Field and
  • Corporate management.
  • Computer skills; proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and
  • Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Planner)
