Trek Bicycle is hiring an Content Strategist to lead its global organic search growth. This person will work with copy, design, UX, and digital strategy teams to drive organic web traffic growth. They will be responsible for ongoing tracking and reporting, identifying opportunities in the branded and non-branded organic search space, and helping prioritize those opportunities.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of content marketing and SEO experience in a lifestyle consumer brand, is deeply knowledgeable about many search platforms, and has a fascination with telling clear stories using data.
-Five+ years working in content marketing from an SEO perspective.
-Deep knowledge of search engines. Google, Yahoo, Bing.
-Understands how search is also a Youtube play.
-Great at condensing complicated reporting into a clear story.
-Local SEO knowledge a plus.
-Knowledge of branded and non-branded content.
-Skilled with keyword research, and familiar with tools like SEMRush, AHRefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
-Knowledge of semantic search and topic clusters.
-Familiar with search console and how to leverage it.
-Cycling knowledge nice but not required; we can teach you how to do wheelies.
-Lead the charge on organic search traffic growth globally.
-Establish global content marketing best practices and reporting for Trek.
-Be a great teammate in helping global offices with local organic content strategies.
