The Data Analyst is responsible for uncovering data-driven insights that enable Trek to better understand their end-consumers and take action that will have a positive impact on the business. The analyst will gather, organize and aggregate large sets of data in order to produce meaningful business insights in areas such as consumer behavior and purchase patterns, marketing effectiveness, and product offerings. The person will also collaborate with senior leaders and Business Intelligence (BI) team members in assessing, identifying and developing new analytic opportunities.


Key responsibilities:

  • Analyze various marketing data sets and report on findings
  • Provide input on the structure and format of data from various sources
  • Assess existing data for quality and accuracy. Clean the data as needed to ensure insights and key takeaways are accurate
  • Recognize patterns in data and organize based on Marketing team’s needs and direction
  • Utilize a statistical software tool daily to perform analysis. Proactively probe data, ask questions, seek clarity
  • Document findings via written reports and presentations
  • Program simple consumer surveys, perform data analysis and write summary reports
  • Participate in strategic conversations based on the data. Recommend actions based on these findings



  • 5+ years experience working with large data sets
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to translate insight into actions. Experience developing insights across various areas of customer related data
  • Hands-on experience applying statistical approaches/concepts, including A/B tests, predictive modeling, statistical significance, and multivariate testing
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills that enable you to explain complex insights with clarity and precision to executive management and business partners
  • Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • Proficiency with statistical software tool and data evaluation
  • Demonstrated ability to take action based on data
  • Willingness to learn and a curious nature
  • Solid business acumen
  • Able to collaborate with others and develop relationships within the organization
  • Digital marketing data experience and consumer product company experience preferred
