Position Description: 

We are looking for a mobile engineer to join the Trek team.  We are a small, agile team that enjoys the autonomy of a startup with the backing and experience of industry experts. 

A great candidate will have extensive experience in full-lifecycle Mobile Software Engineering; including but not limited to requirements analysis, architectural considerations, proof of concepts, engineering design, unit test development, native mobile ci/cd pipeline creation and maintenance.  If you are into developing complete apps, adding new features, utilizing Mobile Application Performance Management (MAPM) tools, configuring pipelines to deploy to device farms as well as internal and external distribution channels such as Test Flight and Google Play Console and engaging in internal/external post-production maintenance, then this position is for you.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Architect, code, create test plans, test, debug, and document applications for IOS and Android using Xamarin 
  • Adhere and contribute to architectural, coding, design, quality, security, and performance standards 
  • Using Bluetooth and NFC technologies, develop applications which work with peripherals 
  • Work with platforms like TestFlight and similar 
  • Follow best practices for development such as continuous integration, unit and integration testing, performance testing, automated deployments and code coverage analysis 
  • Assist in analyzing and troubleshooting issues and defects in environments as well as performance or design inefficiencies 
  • Stay current with the latest mobile development technologies, methods, and tools 
  • Be responsible for the quality, performance, and timeliness of your work 
  • Be ambitious and require minimal supervision

  • Actively participate in sprint ceremonies such as daily standup and retrospectives 


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required 
  • 3-5 years of related experience required 
  • Expertise with C#, OOP design patterns, source control and unit testing 
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Mobile App Services (or similar)  
  • Production experience with the Xamarin (Native or Forms) toolchain (from code to build to deploy) 
  • Extensive experience interfacing and developing Bluetooth applications 
  • SQL and general database knowledge 
  • Have published an enterprise level app in IOS App Store or Google Play Store 
  • Experience with the MVVM (Model View View Model) pattern 
  • Mobile Analytics experience 
  • Exceptional business & technical listening, oral, and written skills  


Bonus Skills: 

  • ANT+, NFC or other wireless technology expertise 
  • GIS/Mapping and custom routing experience 
  • Experience with agile methodologies  
  • Experience with firmware development and design 
  • Experience building Mobile Automation Frameworks 
  • Hands on experience working as a Mobile Software Test Engineer
