Parts Coordinator
Description
The Parts Administrator at Transdev Services, Inc. maintains a complete inventory of parts while assisting with recording data to ensure the Maintenance Department maintains the bus fleet in safe operating condition. This position reports to the Director or Maintenance, Michael Sacchetta. Application Deadline: 01/01/2025
Duties:
1. Pay Rate: $21.50
2. Checks prices and purchases all vehicle parts; prepares work orders and transmittals for management approval.
3. Maintains a complete inventory of parts.
4. Issues parts and documents use.
5. Builds and maintains relationships with parts vendors.
6. Conducts periodic inventory audits.
7. Prepares and issues regular reports to management, & enters daily data for the Maintenance Department.
8. Maintains information regarding life history of all vehicles and their repairs, including their DVIRs, PMs, and Work Orders.

Qualifications:
- 1 or more years of experience in the acquisition, disbursement, and inventory of vehicle parts and supplies.

1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
2. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and ability to write simple correspondence.
3. Ability to utilize standard computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
4. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills required. Must be able to work well unattended for periods of time.
5. Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays, if required.
6. Knowledge of parts and tools needed to repair diesel equipment preferred.
7. Excellent phone communications skills and an ability to create and maintain interpersonal relationships inside and outside the organization.
8. Demonstrated ability in working with standard office machines including, but not limited to fax, copy machine, printers, computer, and email.
9. Must complete and sign the Transdev Services employment application in its entirety.
10. Must provide a complete and verifiable employment history and employment history must be verified with all employers listed in the application and must include the past 10 years of employment, when applicable.
11. An unjustified refusal to supply requested information or a falsification of information will result in the elimination of the applicant for consideration for employment.
12. Must sign a background release form, & submit to drug testing and a background check.

-Most of this work is accomplished indoors and in air-conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
-A smaller portion of this work is accomplished in an open-garage facility outdoors.
