The Assistant Microtransit Operations Supervisor performs supervisory duties relative to the oversight of Microtransit service delivery and provides assistance to the Lead Microtransit Operations Supervisor. This includes evaluating service performance, operator performance to ensure compliance with all applicable rules, procedures, and the service agreement. The Supervisor performs the scheduling duties for both manpower and accepting inbound trip requests as required. Monitors and ensures smooth provision of service not limited to overall rider satisfaction, safety, on time performance, pull out, service quality and customer service.
Job Specifications:
- Monitor AM & PM pull-outs, including fit for duty positive check in on all operators.
- Monitor on time performance and trip routing.
- Makes recommendations to support the implementation of standard operating procedures to improve key performance indicators.
- Conducts road observations to evaluate operator safety, customer service, and systematic knowledge of the service.
- Monitors and enforces the company attendance policy.
- Respond to customer comments related to the service.
- Participates in training campaigns related to service operations, and the software provider.
- Assists the city with marketing campaigns to promote the service.
- Assists with the hiring and training of new operators as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Related Experience:
- The Ideal candidate will have a minimum (1) years’ experience in the transit industry.
Knowledge of:
- Microtransit, fixed route, or paratransit operations.
- Dispatch and booking software platforms.
- State and federal DOT standards.
- Scheduling of personal.
