Transdev Las Vegas Paratransit Team is hiring a Junior Systems Administrator. We are seeking a motivated Junior Systems Administrator with hands-on experience in CCTV systems and low-voltage installation to join our IT and infrastructure team. This role blends traditional system administration duties with physical system support, and digital video recorders and associated equipment in our vehicles and office setting ensuring that both our surveillance and support environments remain secure, reliable, and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of CCTV systems, including cameras, network video recorders (NVRs), and related low-voltage cabling in vehicles and offices.
- Completes and submits daily reports related to repair procedures.
- Keeps assigned work area clean and organized.
- Provide tier 1–2 workstations, printers, and network devices.
- Document all installations, configurations, and troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate with senior administrators and vendors to resolve complex IT and infrastructure challenges.
- Maintain inventory of hardware, cabling, and related materials.
- Participate in after-hours or on-call rotations as needed for critical issues.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; education in IT or a related field preferred.
- 1–5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with CCTV systems (installation, maintenance, troubleshooting).
- Knowledge of low voltage wiring standards, tools, and techniques.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, switches, firewalls, PoE).
- Assisting corporate onsite IT Support and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Windows Office 365 administration.
- Ability to lift and install equipment.
• Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in establishing, applying, and interpreting policies and procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
- Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions – job could be performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces.
- Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
- Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
