About the Position
 
Become a part of our Transdev Fleet Services team as a Parts Clerk in Sumter, South Carolina. You will be responsible for the receipt, verification, labeling, storage, documentation and security of all supplies.
 
Job duties include:
  • Stock all parts
  • Conduct monthly & quarterly inventory of parts and supplies
  • Conduct price and quality surveys
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees and our contract client
  • Maintain a clean and orderly parts room
  • Maintain files and records, providing reports as necessary
  • Order special (non-stock) parts for repairs
  • Monitor re-order levels and replenish inventory to maintain proper inventory levels
  • Manage cores & parts returns
  • Other facility administrative duties as needed
 
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; Technical training preferred
  • Previous computerized vehicle parts room and inventory experience required
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office setting with interruptions
  • Must be able to lift to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Subject to drug testing
