OVERVIEW:
The Marketing Assistant/Facilities Clerk is multi-functional position supporting both the Marketing & Communications Department and the Facilities Department. Working 3 days per week under the direct supervision of the Director of Marketing & Communications, the position is responsible for properly maintaining various locations to the standard of NICE Bus: Bus stop locations, terminals, and any other location inclusive of working with outside contractors to ensure that facilities and locations are properly maintained. Conduct all operations in a safe and responsible manner inclusive of behind the wheel safety. Ensure the timely delivery, installation and posting of various materials throughout the operating environment. Additionally, the Marketing Assistant/Facilities Clerk will work with the Director of Facilities 2 days per week to reconcile purchase orders, manage spreadsheets and databases for supplies and other inventory.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain Terminals:
- Clean – trash collection, sweeping, driver break room, graffiti removal and any other duty necessary.
- Information - maintain signs, schedules and postings up to date and in a state of good repair.
- Safety – ensure the area is safe for both customers and operators.
- Clear snow & ice as necessary.
Street Side Bus Stops:
- Maintain and update, as necessary, all street side bus stops inclusive of installing new signs when necessary.
- Ensure a safe environment for our Customers and Operators.
- Clear snow and ice as necessary.
- Trouble shoot and respond in a timely manner to locations as necessary.
Facilities Clerk:
- Types, files, reports, develops spreadsheets, manages databases and performs other related clerical tasks for the department.
- Reconciles packing slips with purchase orders.
- Orders chemical supplies and maintains inventory for Facilities Department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required.
