Transdev Services, Inc. is seeking a Branch Administrator to provide administrative and clerical suport to an assigned group.

Responsibilities:

  • Verifies Driver hours and responds to basic inquiries related to work hours.
  • Assists with compiling and filing Drivers’ route information.
  • Enters data from various sources to maintain and update various databases and spreadsheets. Ensures data integrity by verifying input and calculations.
  • Types, files, reports, develops spreadsheets, manages databases and performs other related clerical tasks for the department or team.
  • Maintains organized computer and/or hard copy files for easy identification and retrieval.
  • Maintains inventory of departmental office supplies.
  • Posts Driver notifications.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Licensing, and Certifications Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).

Experience Required:

  • One (1) year of experience in general office practices and procedures.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Ability to work independently with general supervision.
  • Able to multitask with conflicting priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.  Ability to use departmental software programs.
  • Must demonstrate ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal, confidentiality and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Travel requirement (as a percent) <5%

Skills and Knowledge Preferred:

  • Knowledge of payroll practices.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Must successfully pass drug testing, criminal background check, and other background checks.

 Physical Requirements:

 Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.

  • 95% of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
  • Most work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
  • The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
