Transdev in Forest Park, GA is hiring a Road Supervisor. Road Supervisors ensures all routes are completed in compliance with safety procedures. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensures that all manifests and scheduled routes are performed accurately and timely. Makes spontaneous decisions regarding routes, assignments, or movements of trips.
- Assigns manifests and documents assignments manually and in the specified computer system; updates and maintains dispatch log and extra board information.
- Assigns and monitors coach availability; provides input on various operational issues including construction detours, serious weather conditions, found property, and passenger complaints.
- Notifies all appropriate personnel of all incidents and accidents; monitors and directs emergency situations; ensures that all incidents and accidents are fully documented
- Troubleshoots mechanical problems with all vehicular equipment; interfaces with maintenance for roadside assistance
- Assists with operator hiring process; administers discipline to operators including recommendations for suspension or termination; oversees activities and supervises drivers room; documents attendance and enforces uniform policy; counsels employees.
- Maintains confidentiality of all information
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, preferred
- Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License with Passenger endorsement and Air brake endorsement required
Experience
- 2 or more years of relevant operator experience, including supervisory experience, required
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Knowledge of service area and ability to read a map
- Ability to use a computer to generate reports and schedules
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret transit system operating rules, regulations, policies, phases and routes
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to organize and perform work efficiently; strong attention to detail
Travel requirement: Extensive travel for occasional meetings; day-to-day travel required for emergency and other route issues
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Must be able to maintain a DOT medical card
- Must submit to drug testing and a criminal background check
