Job Purpose or Scope:  
Responsible for the application intake process, as well as updating information for applicants that are recertifying. Ensure that eligibility process consistently follow established ADA FTA policy and procedure guidelines.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Ensures company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Ensure Federal/ADA regulated compliance is met within 21-day period.
  • Enter paratransit eligibility data into ADA and Trapeze databases including applications, category, conditions of eligibility and reasons for denial or approval.
  • Scan Eligibility applications and accompanying documents onto “I” Drive.
  • Pursues and researches resources to obtain medical licensing verification.
  • Maintains and updates application status in the prescribed database.
  • Collects and compiles data, retrieves and creates reports, summaries, and graphs.
  • Manages electronic transfer process to include, but not limited to, data integrity, and certifications.
  • Administer and conduct mail-outs of Recertification, Approval, Denial and Out-of-Service Area letters.
  • Conduct Paratransit Orientation as needed.
  • Process Paratransit ID cards, Employee ID card and other ID cards as needed.
  • Refer applicants to Senior Services and/or the Voucher Program when appropriate.
  • Maintain files for all eligibility applications and related documents.
  • Participates in special projects by researching, reviewing, and compiling information as required.
  • Deals directly with customers either by telephone, electronically, or face-to-face. Responds promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Completes necessary daily, weekly and/or monthly reports.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned and may assist with other areas based on location needs.
Minimum Education & Certifications Required: Requires a High School Diploma or GED
 Experience & Skills Required:   
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Complete any training requirements
  • Communicate clearly in English
  • Exercise business professional telephone and in-person etiquette

 Physical Requirements & Working Conditions (include amount of travel):           
  • Physical demands refer to the requirements for physical exertion and coordination of limb and body movement.
  • Performs light work that involves walking or standing most of the time and involves exerting up to 20 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis, or skill, adeptness, and speed in the use of fingers, hands or limbs on repetitive operation of electronic office equipment within moderate tolerances or limits of accuracy.
