On-Site Dispatcher
Description
Pittsburgh Transportation Group is actively seeking to fill the position of a part-time an On-Site Dispatcher to assist with our daily transportation operation in Pittsburgh, PA.
We are looking for qualified individuals with transportation experience to provide excellent customer service to both our passengers and our drivers.
Shifts available:
Monday - Friday: 5:00am - 10:00am
OR
Monday - Friday: 3:00pm - 8:00pm

Responsibilities:
- On-site supervision of all drivers, busses, and the delivery of shuttle services in a timely, safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure the coordination of transportation is operating efficiently on assigned services.
- Assist drivers and customers on-site with questions or concerns.
- Provide a friendly and safe experience for customers.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch to report any issues causing service delays/disruptions.
- Assist drivers and customers on-site with questions or concerns, and field customer appropriately.
- Respond immediately to accidents, breakdowns, and any service affecting incidents.
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Minimum 1 year of dispatch operations experience within the transportation industry
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt to changing situations, and listen to feedback
- A customer service oriented mentality with attention to detail
