Responsibilities:   

  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure vehicles are safe for our customers.
  • Diagnose and perform accurately all phases of vehicle and equipment repair including the repair of brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission clutches and other repairs.
  • Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately. Maintain records of all maintenance work completed including parts and supplies used.
  • Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications   

  • Must be at least 21 years old.   

  • 3+ years of diesel or CNG repair employment experience or combination of education & experience.
  • Must have appropriate mechanic’s tool set.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Commercial Driving License with passenger and airbrake endorsements (We can offer training opportunities to obtain your CDL license)   

  • ASE certifications preferred. Must participate in company ASE certification program (company training, and testing)   

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to read, interpret safety documents, blue prints, schematics, and other mechanical diagrams.   

  • Ability to pass a DOT physical examination, including background and a drug test.
