Lead Reservationist
Transdev in Quincy, MA is hiring a Lead Reservationist. The Lead Reservationist is responsible for daily supervision and coaching of reservationists on the floor and at remote locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Assuring quality of operations including monitoring and observing customer phone calls and coaching to resolve customer service issues and compliance with the MBTA policies and procedures
  • Resolving routine reservations staffing issues, including covering breaks, staff tardiness or absence, and reassigning staff or modifying the routing of calls as needed to maintain performance
  • Coaching reservationists to resolve performance issues and maintain compliance with Transdev and MBTA polices and procedures
  • Resolving any immediate customer related issues, especially escalated problems
  • Meeting with the Reservations Manager on a regular basis
  • Performing the duties of Reservationists when needed and possible without compromising primary Lead Reservationist duties
  • Support the Reservations Supervisor in training new employees.
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of transit supervisory experience preferred.
  • 3-years call center experience
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software
  • Ability to maintain amiable relations with customers and other outside contacts
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not
    authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
  • Ability to supervise others
  • Travel requirement (as a percent): <5% for occasional meetings
Physical Requirements:
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
• Work inside an air-conditioned office environment
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day)
• Push and pull objects up to 25 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at
ground level
