Your Part in It:
Working out of our Canadian Headquarters in the West-Island of Montreal, we are looking for our next Financial Analyst. You will be apart of the Finance team and you will contribute to activities that drive growth and optimal financial outcomes.
You will play a vital role in assisting with the company's short-term and long-term financial forecasting, and key initiatives. This role requires an independent and motivated professional who is comfortable working with cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
FINANCIAL ANALYST
What the Job Entails:
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing process including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, accruals and analysis
- Process journal entries to ensure all transactions are recorded
- Assist with analyzing expenses and monthly accruals
- Update and reconcile various schedules supporting balance sheet accounts
- Assist with month-end reporting variance analysis
- Prepare monthly management reports
- Assists with ad hoc financial analysis requests and finance related projects
- Assists with providing various backup documentation for the year-end financial audit
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field and 1-2 years of relevant finance experience
- Good understanding of finance and accounting concepts – either through University studies or experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Detail oriented, analytical, independent and pro-active thinker
- Eager to learn and grow
- Experience with accounting software is an asset
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

This is a full-time permanent position from Monday to Friday.

- Baccalauréat en finances ou dans un domaine connexe et 1 à 2 ans d'expérience pertinente en finances
- Bonne compréhension des concepts financiers et comptables - soit par des études universitaires, soit par l'expérience.
- Maîtrise de Microsoft Excel
- Souci du détail, esprit d'analyse, indépendance et proactivité.
- Désireux d'apprendre et de progresser
- Une expérience avec un logiciel de comptabilité est un atout
- Excellentes aptitudes à la communication et à la présentation
- Industrie robuste avec formation et mentorat
