Your Part in It:
We are looking for our next Air Export Pricing Analyst to join our team in Chicago or Detroit. Working closely with leadership to support the development of our air export product, this role focuses on pricing and delivering competitive quotes to meet customer demands. You’ll play a critical role in handling quote requests, sourcing rates, and managing our growing global pipeline of air cargo business.
AIR EXPORT PRICING ANALYST
What the Job Entails:
- Daily Quoting: Respond to and manage quote requests that support our global pipeline of air export business.
- Rate Sourcing: Utilize direct airline contacts, predefined rating tools, and CargoWise to source rates from carriers (road, CFS/CCSF, and air) to ensure competitive pricing and optimal customer value.
- Strategic Thinking: Apply creative thinking and revise work as needed to meet client rate demands.
- Routing Knowledge: Explore and understand the carrier base efficiencies on the routings being offered.
- Operational Support: Handle a high volume of daily activity, managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting tight deadlines.
What We Are Looking For:
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Working knowledge of air cargo operations, including an understanding of direct vs. agent routing.
- Experience with CargoWise is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to think creatively to revise quotes and meet customer needs.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
