We are looking for an Analytics Engineer, excited to work with data to help provide the company with impactful tools to support decision-making across the company. We are looking for dynamic and creative people eager to learn every day and make a difference!
As an Analytics Engineer, you will be part of the central team that builds a data platform to make it easy for the data consumers in the company (self-service BI, financial & operational reporting, analytics, reverse ETL) to have access to the data that they need. You will be part of a small team of 3, so you will have exposure to all aspects of data engineering tasks, but with a focus on analytics engineering. You should strive to implement best practices to build a modern, scalable data platform.
ANALYTICS ENGINEER
What the Job Entails:
- Work with internal customers to understand their data needs, and translate into technical requirements;
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to extract or ingest new data sources to a data warehouse, using Data Vault methodology;
- Build and maintain PBI semantic models that centralize business logic and simplify reporting;
- Monitor the availability and integrity of the data warehouse, and address accordingly;
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality;
- Contribute to and enforce internal development standards.
What We Are Looking For:
- 7+ years of experience in a data analytics or data engineering role;
- Experience with SQL;
- Experience with dbt;
- Experience with DAX
- Experience with PBI semantic models;
- Experience with dimensional modeling (Kimball);
- Experience with Git;
- Actively stays up to date with latest technologies;
- Leverages AI tools to increase productivity;
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Bonus:
- Familiarity with or interest in Data Vault 2.0 methodology;
- Experience with Cloud SQL platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, …)
- Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP);
- Experience with PBI report building;
- Knowledge of transportation and/or logistics.

This is a full-time permanent position from Monday to Friday.
