Your Part in It:
Working out of our Bogota office, we are looking for our next LATAM Credit Manager. Working within the Finance department, you will manage credit and collections operations across the Latin American region, ensuring that we maintain healthy cash flow and minimize credit risk.
You will assess customer creditworthiness, develop credit policies, and oversee collections processes to support the financial stability of the company.
LATAM CREDIT MANAGER
What the Job Entails:
- Assess creditworthiness of new and existing clients, evaluating financials, and setting appropriate credit limits.
- Enforce credit policies in compliance with local regulations.
- Oversee collections, ensure timely recovery of outstanding debts, and negotiate payment plans.
- Monitor customer accounts and manage relationships in coordination with sales teams.
- Provide regular reporting on credit risk and collections performance to senior management.
- Lead and mentor a team of credit and collections specialists.
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in credit management, preferably within the LATAM region.
- Strong operational knowledge in financial analysis, credit risk, and collections processes.
- Solid understanding of softwares, including Microsoft Office & Excel. Sage is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with local and international credit practices and regulations.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Experience in logistics is an asset.
- Outgoing personality; high energy; flexible.

Lo que Implica el Trabajo:
- Evaluar la solvencia crediticia de clientes nuevos y existentes, analizar sus estados financieros y establecer límites de crédito adecuados.
- Hacer cumplir las políticas de crédito en conformidad con las regulaciones locales.
- Supervisar los cobros, asegurar la recuperación oportuna de deudas pendientes y negociar planes de pago.
- Monitorear las cuentas de los clientes y gestionar las relaciones en coordinación con los equipos de ventas.
- Proporcionar informes regulares sobre el riesgo crediticio y el rendimiento de los cobros a la alta gerencia.
- Liderar y guiar a un equipo de especialistas en crédito y cobros.
Lo que Buscamos:
- Mínimo 5 años de experiencia en gestión de crédito, preferiblemente en la región LATAM.
- Conocimiento operativo sólido en análisis financiero, riesgo crediticio y procesos de cobros.
- Sólido entendimiento de software, incluyendo Microsoft Office y Excel. El conocimiento de Sage es un plus.
- Excelentes habilidades de comunicación verbal y escrita en inglés y español.
- Familiaridad con las prácticas y regulaciones de crédito locales e internacionales.
- Experiencia en liderazgo y gestión de equipos.
- Experiencia en logística es una ventaja.
- Personalidad extrovertida; alta energía; flexibilidad.
