Your Part in It:
Working out of our Bogota, Colombia office, we are looking for our next Human Resources Generalist. Working within the Human Resources department, you will participate in various Human Resources tasks and projects in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment.
HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST
What the Job Entails:
- Handle various employee relation issues across Mexico and Latin America (Colombia, Chile, Peru), including investigations, absenteeism, disciplinary actions, corrective action plans, terminations, etc.
- Execute full cycle recruitment.
- Preparing contracts and new-hire packages for new employees and coordinate onboarding
- Inform employees of policies and procedures and guide them when needed.
- Send payroll outsourcing companies all necessary documents and reports for monthly payroll processing.
- Manage employee exit process.
- Fill documentation for hires, transfers, etc.
- Assist and coordinate employee engagement events within approved budget.
- Review and update HR Policies/procedures as required.
What We Are Looking For:
- Degree in Human Resources or in a similar field.
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of labor and employment standards in Colombia and willingness to learn those of other countries.
- Bilingualism (Spanish & English) necessary to support employees and communicate with Canadian head office.
- Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and proactive.
- Eager to learn and passionate about HR.
This is a full-time permanent position from Monday to Friday.
