Torrid has a great opportunity for a Software Engineer which develops new features to support the eCommerce Initiatives, merchandising goals and concepts. The position provides programming expertise for a variety of systems integration, tools development, software support and troubleshooting activities. The Software Engineer actively works on multiple complex tools and software projects simultaneously. Therefore, the position requires the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment, managing multiple projects in order to complete them successfully and within expected timelines.

What You'll Do:

  • Analyze business requirements.
  • Create technical design documents/specifications.
  • Develop and implement software related to large-scale eCommerce/web applications.
  • Research and Implement robust, secure software design and development principles, per PCI guidelines.
  • Participate/Manage in bug/defect resolution meetings.
  • Co-ordinate and participate in onsite/offshore team meetings, per project/support demand.
  • Perform Unit Testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems relating to software/web applications.
  • Document code consistently throughout the development process.
  • Support QA teams in the process of testing and certification.
  • Debug problems and provide root cause analysis.
  • Participate in code Review meetings, to minimize security and system performance related issues.
  • Maintain code bases, releases and derivations in modern revision control systems, bitbucket.
  • Handle multiple projects/priorities in a fast paced dynamic environment.
  • Responsible for the delivery of assigned tasks/projects.
  • Manage the timeline of assigned tasks/projects.
  • Work/Co-ordinate with cross-functional teams as needed to deliver tasks/projects.
  • Work with vendors/implementation partners as needed.
  • Tracking of identified software bugs (including vulnerabilities) in a structured manner and reporting upon both bug severity and closure statistics
  • Review and maintain legacy code
  • Provide level 3 support.
What You'll Need:
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce domain
  • 3+ years of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) development experience
