The Torrid District Manager role is based in Richmond, VA.

The Torrid District Manager leads Store Managers to provide a superior Torrid Experience to customers and store teams. The District Manager will coach teams, lead by example, foster accountability, drive operational efficiency, and maximize store and district sales.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide immediate feedback and coaching to ensure the team is delivering the Torrid Experience to every customer.
  • Coach store leaders on effectively scheduling staff and monitoring floor coverage to maximize selling.
  • Ensure the store environment is appealing to customers and that visual merchandising company standards are adhered to.
  • Minimize turnover by hiring and retaining qualified people who are career-focused and fit the Torrid culture.
  • Communicate business objectives and provide feedback to store teams regarding business and financial results.
  • Lead diligently and pragmatically in the execution of the company vision, Torrid's initiatives, and the day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure store compliance with all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to operational, merchandising, financial, administrative, compensation, safety, salary, and loss prevention policies and procedures.
  • Visit each store regularly, provide documented visit recaps at least once per quarter, and audit procedures accordingly.
  • Ensure that all stores achieve sales plans and/or comp sales goals.
  • Deliver district KPI performance and manage payroll hours and shrink performance within company guidelines and goals.
  • Perform other job duties as needed.

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of specialty/apparel management experience and at least 1–2 years as a district manager or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of women's fashion is required, and knowledge of fashion for Torrid's target market and plus-size customer needs is preferred.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. College degree preferred.
  • Demonstrate dedication to meeting the needs of internal and external customers by responding promptly and thoroughly to requests.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to work in a team environment, provide honest, direct feedback, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Uphold and further Torrid's culture and values while demonstrating curiosity and an open mind regarding fashion trends.
  • Meet deadlines, prioritize appropriately, cope well with change, and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Be accountable for results, approach obstacles proactively, and look for ways to resolve problems and issues.
  • Be flexible and adaptive to changing environments, ideas, priorities, and challenges.
  • Be able to travel frequently.
  • Regularly be required to sit, stand, bend, and lift/move up to 10 pounds. May occasionally lift/move up to 30 pounds.

Salary range: $93,000-$120,000.00
