As a Operations Manager for Torrid's DC you will lead the execution of daily operations, driving performance across safety, quality, efficiency, and financial results. This role is responsible for guiding teams, allocating resources, and ensuring clear communication while upholding key processes and standards. AVIALABLE SHIFTS:
Sunday - Tuesday and alternating Wednesdays 4:30 PM -  3:00 AM
Thursday - Saturday and alternating Wednesdays - 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM
 
What You’ll Do:  
  • Manage a team of exempt direct reports. Management responsibilities include, but are not limited to hiring, coaching, skills development, recognition and rewards, staff productivity and performance management to include disciplinary actions up to and including termination.
  • Direct the operational aspects of the assigned department, ensuring daily plans are established and communicated.
  • Know and evaluate operational productivity goals, monitoring daily and ensuring goals are achieved on all shifts.
  • Model and reinforce the Torrid teammate culture to ensure it is being fostered in the facility.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of required production and inventory reports.
  • Plan, monitor and manage actual performance against operational plan and budget; this includes, but is not limited to, proper management of departmental staffing levels, overtime, and overall operational headcount.
  • Ensure shipment and loading accuracy on all shifts.
  • Aid the leadership team on special projects as required.
  • Identify and coordinate daily activities of team members; inspire your team to achieve desired results in productivity, teamwork, safety, quality, and job knowledge.
  • Collaborate across departments to drive optimal productivity; foster an environment in which diverse backgrounds are respected and valued.
  • Ensure performance plans are set, maintained, and continuously improved; generate creative solutions to identify improvements in processes.
  • Manage a safe workplace by advocating safety training and accident preparedness.
 
What You’ll Need:
  • 4+ years of experience in Distribution Center management, operations, and leadership.
  • Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management.
  • Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (Microsoft Office Suite) required.
