Description
Responsibilities include:
- Oversees the mixing of oncologic therapeutics and associated medication.
- Reviews chemotherapy orders to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Assists physicians in optimizing drug therapies.
- Supervision of the oral dispensing center.
- Participation in oncology disease-related groups to support guideline development
- Issues guidance to the physician group on treatment protocols and ensures compliance with various pathways.
- Provides accurate drug information to healthcare professionals and patients
Experience:
- Two years of Pharmacist experience required
Education:
- Pharm.D or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency
License/Certification:
- CA PharmD License (Preferred)
Salary Range: $136,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
