Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Director to lead our healthcare team. The Clinical Director will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our facility, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, and promoting high-quality patient care. This role requires strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of medical management, and a commitment to maintaining accreditation standards.
Duties
- Provides oversight of the clinical operations at the Hunt Cancer Center, including but not limited to nursing, infusion room, triage, clinical trials, lab services, and medical assistant workflows.
- Gives regimen guidance based on both recognized treatment guidelines and financial solvency.
- Creates a culture of effective communication and promotes positive working relationships with both internal and external parties, including other departments and physicians.
- Demonstrates expert skills in methods of assessment, intervention, and evaluation in dealing with the ever-changing problems and needs of patients, families and staff.
- Makes independent decisions regarding nursing patient care needs and assumes complete responsibility for those decisions.
- Represents TMPN cancer leadership across the various joint operating committees and internal meetings
- Addresses personnel issues in order to promote a healthy work environment.
- Communicates polices, standards, institutional change, safety information, and clinical information integral to the position.
- Develops and monitors annual goals for improving patient satisfaction, quality, and cost containment and reports trends to staff.
- Performs other work as required or requested.
- Manage daily clinical operations to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that comply with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
- Oversee training, and performance evaluation of clinical staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall quality of care provided to patients.
- Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives as necessary.
- Serve as a liaison between staff, administration, and external regulatory agencies.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in medical management and patient safety protocols.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate or Master’s degree in Nursing
- CA nursing license
- 5 years of management experience
- Proven experience in healthcare management or a similar leadership role within a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with relevant healthcare regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead a diverse team while fostering a positive work environment.
- A degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field is preferred; advanced degrees are a plus.

Pay Range
Min - $129,102.00 - Max $224,542.00
