The Remodel Field Supervisor position is designed to support the Division Manager, Trainer(s), and remodel teams/merchandisers at field level.  The Remodel Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing training and development of Remodel Trainer(s), Team Leads, Assistant Team Leads and all Remodel merchandiser’s.  Remodel Field Supervisors will also support and work with the Division Manager in execution of all Remodels, while directly working with Division Managers.

Start time: 6 AM – completion (shifts typically last 8-10 hours M-F)

What does the position require from me?

  • Write schedules in conjunction with project timeframes and remodels.
  • Manage Store Reporting System SRS through use of dash boards. (Review / approve data, reassignment of calls etc).
  • Approve and/or Reject Remodels and Remodel projects in SRS on a daily basis per DM’s directive.
  • Audit and review Team Leads quality compliance via pictures in SRS
  • Complete Inspect/Expect field audits weekly.
  • Participate in Management/Store Planning conference calls when requested.
  • Report to Division Manager regarding Trainers and team performance, quality of tasks as implemented, Team Lead’s ability to manage events and any other specific information requested.
  • Report all no-shows.
  • Follow up and be actively involved in all SRS approving of Remodels and approve any Remodel projects that are outstanding before payroll is due.
  • Assist or fill-in leading Remodels if necessary.
  • Work with Trainer(s), Team Lead’s, and Assistant Team Leads on missing paperwork.
  • Special projects or audits. Augment shelf or fixture deliveries.
  • Correction of “one-off” store issues, manufacturer audit resolution.
  • Verify that resets are done correctly.
  • Train new Trainer(s) and Team Leads as needed.

Are you qualified?

  • 3+ year experience as a Trainer or Team Lead with TNG Retail Services or equivalent experience, having demonstrated leadership and training skills.
  • Have a reliable form of transportation. (Current valid Driver’s license and proof of Auto insurance will be required).
  • Ability to promote and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, including effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently from remote office location without direct supervision.
  • Display self-driven, positive attitude and above all, integrity
  • Well organized with excellent follow-through and with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Be flexible and willing to adapt to changing market needs.
  • Have a working knowledge various software programs and common computer functions (i.e. Word, Excel, Email, uploading digital pictures).
  • Familiarity with TNG Retail Services PIC’s and process for uploading.
  • Familiarity with SRS processes including the ability to understand and complete documentation for SRS.
  • Handle light power tools, (drills), and manual tools, (hammer, screw drivers etc.)
  • Stand, bend, stoop, climb stairs/ladders and lift above shoulder level consistently.
  • Walk and stand for 10 hour shifts (often on concrete and/or tile surfaces).
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
