We have an opportunity for a Human Resources Intern in our Corporate Headquarters located in Houston, TX. You will have an opportunity to work closely with HR teams providing support for the various HR focus. As part of a team, you will put theory into practice, applying innovative approaches to HR business challenges that arise. This role will work on various HR strategic projects over the course of the summer and participate in a business project presented to an executive panel at the conclusion of the internship.
As an HR intern, you will gain a hands-on understanding of how Human Resources supports the business through innovation and collaboration. 

Performance Objectives:

  • You will support Corporate HR on various HR related tasks through collaboration and coordination with both stakeholders and HR staff members
  • Interact with all members of the HR department. Willing to assist with preparing ad hoc reports or working on special projects or events such as audits, HR systems testing, HR policies and procedures, training events, records retention, employee appreciation etc.
  • Engage with the HR leadership team to gain insight into career paths and milestones.


  • Minimum of 60 credit hours completed in pursuit of a Bachelors in Human Resources or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills displayed through previous employment, student organization leadership or key projects. 
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office 365 (ex. Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
