Job description:
The Senior Manager for Data and Integration is responsible for the design and maintenance of enterprise application integrations, databases and the reporting pipelines, along with handling the analysis and presentation of data in the company. This role will be the thought leader that will partner with stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver an optimized solution that will be used for daily operations and strategic decision making. This position will lead a shared services team that will deliver the integration and data needs across the organization. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Implementation
  • Lead the design, development and maintenance of the integration architecture utilizing IPaaS platforms (Workato, MuleSoft, Boomi) that are scalable, meets the business requirements and industry standards
  • Oversee the design and implementation of the data frameworks that will be used to store and manage data coming from multiple systems across the organization
  • Lead data migration, consolidation and data sync efforts, ensuring smooth integration with CRM, ERP, and other core business systems
  • Manage the design and implementation of reporting solutions and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with the stakeholders to understand their needs and develop specifications for the projects
 
Stakeholder Management
  • Partner with stakeholders across Xperi to develop a comprehensive Integration and Reporting strategy
  • Work closely with IT and business teams to identify their needs, manage expectation, mitigate risk and provide timely delivery
  • Establish data, reporting and integration governance policies to conform with industry standards and best practices
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively
  • Coach and mentor team members to enhance their capabilities
 
Project Management
  • Lead the project implementation from scoping, requirements gathering, design, build, testing, conversion, cutover and go live
  • Run sprints and effectively communicate progress and status of ongoing projects to the stakeholder.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and budget
  • Communicate the requirements and solution design to the India, EMEA and US teams
 
Training, Support and Documentation
  • Provide training and walkthrough that the business users need to perform their daily work
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting in the data and integration platforms
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, processes, and standards
  • Monitor and optimize Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and performance metrics to maintain high standards of service quality and meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Prepare test cases and assist/support UAT
 
Continuous Improvements
  • Contribute to the continued growth and evolution of Xperi’s Enterprise Integration and Reporting initiatives
  • Stay updated with latest technological features and functionalities
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements
  • Implement best practices to optimize performance and usability.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and growth mindset within the team
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, CS, or related field
  • Minimum 12 years of software or systems engineering experience with a minimum of 8 years of experience in leading Enterprise Data and Integration teams 
  • Possess in-depth expertise in enterprise system integration, utilizing various middleware platforms and integration strategies to ensure seamless connectivity between systems 
  • Demonstrated success in leading the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level reporting solutions, driving actionable data insights and impactful visualizations 
  • Experienced in managing large-scale integration and reporting projects, ensuring they adhere to timelines, budgets, and technical requirements while efficiently utilizing resources
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns (EIP) and best practices for designing scalable, secure, and efficient integrations
  • Expertise in API management, microservices architecture, and event-driven integrations
  • Deep understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data flow management, with experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, and BI tools
  • Strong expertise in data integration tools and use cases, ensuring seamless data flow across systems
  • Experience with the Desktop and Cloud variants of Tableau and PowerBI 
  • Demonstrated leadership in guiding and mentoring engineering teams, fostering a collaborative work environment, and promoting best practices in integration and reporting engineering
  • Experience in Consumer Electronics, Digital Entertainment and Media preferrable 
  • Extensive experience with enterprise software such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Magento, as well as data warehouse tools like AWS, Microsoft SQL, Salesforce Data, ETL/ELT, and SSIS
  • In-depth knowledge of public cloud infrastructure, with a preference for experience in AWS
  • Experience working with AI agents is a plus
  • Strong background in various software development lifecycles (SDLCs) and Agile methodologies, with a deep understanding of project artifacts such as business requirements, design documentation, and test plans
  • Strong knowledge of data security, privacy regulations, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) in the context of enterprise integration and reporting 
  • Must have a learning and problem solving mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision
