About the role:

Candidate will be the part of Metadata engineering group and Ingest 2.0 is product and we are ingesting video metadata from many content aggregators and Pay Tv operators. It has capability of ingesting multiple language metadata along with KG matching feature to enrich the Video metadata. Ingest 2.0 mainly ingesting program, person, episodes, and image metadata.

Metadata Customers are worldwide, and they are spread across LTAM, EU and NA regions.

Job Purpose  

Candidate will be part of the Metadata engineering team and he will be closely working with other engineers to implement the business logic using C#/dot Net, SSIS, SQL jobs/Queries and stored procedures.

Here’s what you get to do:

Candidate will be part of Ingest 2.0 team where he will be working as a developer, implementation of new features analyzing and fixing issues. He will be responsible for understanding customer requirements and new change request.  He will be responsible for coming up with solutions for the assigned tasks and complete them on time. He will be expected to follow code review process and other best development practices.

Who are we looking for?

• Engineer/MCA from reputed universities or colleges with percentage of 70% or more
• 4 to 6 yrs development experience.
• Hand on working knowledge in SQL Server database.(Table, Trigger, Stored procedure, Index, Function etc.)
• Hands on and experienced in object oriented programming concepts and design
• Hands on experience in C# and SSIS. Good to have knowledge in No SQL Database.
• Good to have basic knowledge in Java based API and Spring batch framework.
• Must have worked in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Experienced in following SDLC process of development, unit testing, bug fixing, code review and deployment

Top 3 primary skills and expertise level requirement (1 to 5; 5 being expert)

• C#, dot Net – 5
• SQL– 5
• SSIS – 3

Familiarity with some of the tools used below
