Your Role as a Maintenance Technician: 
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our apartment community stays in top condition. You will handle maintenance requests, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with property upkeep to provide a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents. 
What You’ll Do: 
  • Maintenance & Repairs: Perform timely and efficient maintenance of residential units, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry. 
  • Preventative Maintenance: Regularly inspect the property to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems. 
  • Service Requests: Respond promptly to work orders from residents and resolve issues to ensure resident satisfaction. 
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure the property complies with safety standards by performing routine safety checks and maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment. 
  • Emergency Support: Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies to ensure 24/7 support for residents. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the on-site management team to maintain the property’s condition and assist with larger maintenance projects as needed. 
Our Ideal Candidate: 
  • High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent level of education and experience. 
  • 2+ years of experience in apartment maintenance or a similar role. 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license. 
  • Flexibility and availability for on-call duty and emergency repairs. 
  • EPA and CPO certification preferred. 
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently. 
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members. 
  • Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment. 
  • Must be willing to perform additional duties such as snow removal, and unit touch ups.
