In this pivotal role, you'll serve as the Owner's Representative, overseeing every aspect of construction projects—from initial design and budgeting to the final turnover—across retail, mixed-use, and industrial developments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee civil and architectural design reviews
  • Develop and manage construction schedules
  • Create and monitor hard cost budgets
  • Represent ownership in all construction matters
  • Assist in project bidding and award processes
  • Conduct contract reviews and ensure compliance
  • Administer construction activities from start to finish
  • Handle submittals and conduct progress meetings
  • Ensure quality assurance and manage change orders
  • Oversee budget and schedule reporting
  • Manage punch lists and facilitate project acceptance/delivery
  • Coordinate with owners on signage and landlord work
  • Transition projects to property management teams
  • Collaborate with tenants for plan reviews, approvals, and space delivery
  • Maintain organized project files and deliver comprehensive project reports
  • Execute additional duties as needed 

 

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • A bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field is required.
  • At least 8 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on commercial projects.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across the organization and with clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in real estate transactions, construction, and tenant coordination.
  • High level of computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, Procore, and MS Project.
  • A detail-oriented, driven individual with a strong sense of accountability and urgency.
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
