As the Director, you will lead a talented team that ensures our compliance initiatives are robust, up-to-date, and aligned with industry trends. You’ll collaborate with departments across the company, conducting comprehensive audits, driving compliance strategies, and supporting the ongoing development of our risk management practices. Your insights will directly impact our efficiency, risk management, and overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the review, update, and implementation of company-wide policies and compliance strategies.
  • Conduct and oversee internal audits to assess risks, ensuring compliance with best practices and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
  • Facilitate ongoing education and training on compliance, risk management, and internal controls.
  • Identify potential compliance gaps and provide actionable solutions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate innovative compliance strategies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Real Estate Development, Construction, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, construction, or real estate development, with a focus on multifamily projects.
  • 4+ years of management experience.
  • Expertise in internal audit, risk assessment, and internal controls.
  • Strong relationship-building and leadership skills, with a passion for team development.
  • Preferred certifications: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Risk Management Auditor (CRMA), Lean Six Sigma certification.
