Scheduled Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Job Description:
The Production Scheduler at USCP will be responsible for managing the production schedule, coordinating with customers for deliveries, generating Bills of Lading (BOLs), and ordering production materials. This role requires close collaboration with the operations team to ensure seamless production processes and on-time order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of production operations and a desire to learn the specifics of the polymer industry.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the production schedule to ensure efficient and timely operations.
  • Coordinate with customers to arrange deliveries and accurately generate loading tickets (BOLs).
  • Order and maintain inventory of production materials, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Assist in the preparation of submittal packages, with an opportunity to learn basic CAD functionalities.
  • Conduct daily visits to the production facility to coordinate with the operations team on order status and production updates.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of USCP's operations and the broader industry.
Qualifications:
  • Experience or studies in Construction, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities and technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of production and manufacturing processes, particularly in the polymer industry, is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the construction, manufacturing, or precast concrete and construction management sectors is advantageous.
Work Environment
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Physical Demands
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move products and supplies, up to 40 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
  • This is a full-time, Non-exempt position. Days and office hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00m. to 5:00 p.m. OT will be required as needed.
