Starting Wage $30.00 - $40.00 (DOE)
Scheduled Shift: M-F 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Subject to change based on the needs of the business.)

Overview:
The Electrician will install and maintain the electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in buildings.
Essential Functions:
- Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings to meet NEMA standards.
- Installs conduit to facility electrical wires and cables.
- Trouble shoot and repair mechanical and electrical components
- Ensures conduit complies with NEMA electrical codes.
- Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.
- Connects electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the building.
- Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
- Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.
- Replaces conduit and wiring as needed.
- Replaces circuit breakers as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- And other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of how to troubleshoot PLC.
- Install and program VFD’s
Requirements
- Industrial Electrical experience
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
- Bilingual preferred, but not required.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
- Knowledge with variable drives
- Knowledge with automated machines and an expert understanding of all related devices. (AC/DC Drives, prox, photo eye’s, encoders, PLC, VFD and transducers).
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot analog controls
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Required Education and experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid electrician’s license recommended but not required.
Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
- Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
- The employee must occasionally lift or move products and supplies, up to 75 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. OT will be required as needed. This position regularly requires weekend work.
