Duties:

  • Perform in-patient and out-patient neurodiagnostic tests including EEG
  • Maintain accurate records of tests performed
  • Assist with statistical data and quality assurance
  • Ensure equipment is functioning properly and maintain adequate supplies
  • Collaborate with other team members to optimize use of available resources
  • Work in a manner that is in compliance with staff and patient/client safety practices, policies and procedures of The Royal
  • Ensure a work environment that is conducive to The Royal’s Harassment-Free Workplace policy
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Current certification with the Canadian Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists (CBRET) required
  • Undergraduate degree in Health Sciences, or a related field is required
  • Minimum of three (3) years recent practical experience in EEG is preferred.
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to work independently as well as a member of a dynamic team
  • Demonstrated effective decision making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with excellent patient care skills and service excellence attitude is essential
  • Strong organizational skills combined with effective problem solving abilities 
  • English level A- is mandatory in oral expression, oral comprehension, reading comprehension and written expression. Bilingual (French/English) is considered an asset.

Salary Range: $35.77 to  $48.78 per hour
