Job Summary
The Director, Transformation evaluates and prioritizes enterprise transformation opportunities that deliver technology-enabled, measurable business outcomes by aligning cross-functional leaders and advising senior executives on solution pathways across technology, operations, and shared services to improve profitability, efficiency, and scalability, including identifying and advancing business improvement opportunities with direct return on investment (ROI) and free cash flow impact.

Primary Objectives
  • Identify and prioritize enterprise-wide technology-enabled initiatives to improve profitability, cash flow, and efficiency.
  • Champion transformation initiatives that improve profitability, margin, and cost efficiency through technology and process optimization.
  • Partner with technology, operational, and executive leadership to evaluate constraints, challenge assumptions, and define viable solution options.
  • Align enterprise capabilities and partner with business leaders to optimize vendor strategies, manage spend, and improve value delivery, including enterprise-wide aggregated spend analysis and procurement optimization.
  • Identify and advance customer and operational value improvement opportunities, including customer profitability and value-based decision-making capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize transformation opportunities across business processes, technology, and data to drive measurable financial and operational outcomes.
  • Facilitate cross-functional forums to build and maintain a prioritized pipeline of transformation opportunities aligned to enterprise financial objectives.
  • Drive accountability for execution of prioritized initiatives by aligning stakeholders, monitoring progress, and resolving barriers to ensure delivery of expected financial and operational results.
  • Translate business needs into clearly defined solution options, including technology, artificial intelligence (AI), process redesign, and external partnerships.
  • Partner with business unit and Shared Services leaders to assess processes, define requirements, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Drive profitability improvement initiatives by identifying cost reduction, productivity, and margin expansion opportunities across functions.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess transformation impact, including financial performance, operational efficiency, and adoption.
  • Partner with business and functional leaders to improve sourcing approaches, promote consistency in vendor selection practices, and enhance cost management.
  • Partner with execution teams to transition prioritized initiatives into delivery with clear scope, objectives, and success metrics.
  • Strengthen vendor management approaches to optimize spend, improve service delivery, and support scalable, multi-partner ecosystems.
  • Lead business process analysis and reengineering efforts, identifying gaps and recommending technology-enabled improvements.
  • Design and facilitate maturity assessments, gap analyses, and benchmarking to inform strategy and prioritize investments.
  • Assess organizational readiness, stakeholder alignment, and risks associated with proposed transformation initiatives.
  • Define and recommend governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure transformation initiatives align with organizational standards, compliance requirements, and strategic objectives.
  • Support executive alignment and decision-making through development of business cases, feasibility assessments, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and automation, to inform business strategy and innovation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Master's degree preferred
Work Experience
  • 10+ years' experience leading enterprise transformation, technology-enabled initiatives, or operational optimization efforts required
  • Demonstrated experience identifying, evaluating, and influencing complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives that deliver measurable financial and operational outcomes required
  • Experience with AI, automation or digital technologies in a business transformation context required

  • Strong knowledge of AI/ML applications, data management, and automation strategies.

  • Expertise in program delivery, governance, and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex concepts into clear recommendations.
