Director, National Accounts – Drive Strategic Growth & Customer Partnerships at Pasha Hawaii

Lead, Grow & Maximize National Account Performance
Own high-impact customer relationships and turn strategy into sustained results across the Pasha Hawaii network.
  • Own the Full Sales Cycle: Prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close new business while expanding share within existing national and strategic accounts.
  • Drive Profitable Growth: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual volume, revenue, and profit objectives through disciplined account planning and execution.
  • Build Strategic Relationships: Establish trusted partnerships with senior decision-makers and influencers across major customer accounts.
  • Execute Account & Territory Strategy: Develop and manage account plans and territory strategies to maximize revenue, margin, and long-term value.
  • Negotiate & Price Strategically: Partner with senior leadership to negotiate pricing, contracts, and multi-year agreements aligned with profitability goals.
  • Forecast & Report Performance: Develop and forecast revenue streams; deliver quarterly performance updates and insights to leadership.
  • Represent the Brand: Deliver customer presentations, participate in trade shows, and conduct port operation tours to showcase Pasha Hawaii’s value proposition.
Be a Strategic Sales Partner Across the Business
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver seamless customer solutions and scalable growth.
  • Align Sales, Pricing & Operations: Work closely with pricing, logistics, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions for key accounts.
  • Support Team Success: Guide and support account managers and inside sales partners through relationship development, deal strategy, and account profitability analysis.
  • Leverage Data & Systems: Use Salesforce and Business Intelligence tools to manage pipeline activity, evaluate performance, and drive informed decisions.
  • Ensure Continuity & Excellence: Maintain comprehensive account documentation and lead knowledge transfer to ensure seamless account management.
What You Bring
You bring a strong commercial mindset, deep sales experience, and the ability to turn strategy into measurable results.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of progressive sales and account management experience, preferably in transportation, shipping, or supply chain environments.
  • Proven success driving revenue growth, managing complex accounts, and closing strategic deals.
  • CRM expertise, including Salesforce; strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Container shipping sales experience preferred.
  • Leadership experience mentoring or managing account managers preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; TWIC required within 90 days of hire.

Starting pay will be determined by job-related factors including experience, education, and business needs and may be modified at any time.
 
Zone 5: Starting rate $155,000; up to $180,000 for highly qualified candidates
 
This job is also eligible for participation in an Incentive Plan with a target payout based on eligible compensation and corporate/individual performance goal attainment.
Annual Incentive Opportunity: 20% of eligible compensation
