  • Tracking & Registration: Administer and track equipment registration in Hawaii and maintain accurate equipment records across systems.
  • Maintenance & Repair Oversight: Partner with M&R teams and inland yards to prioritize repairs, analyze damage trends, minimize repair costs, and ensure a safe, service-ready supply of equipment.
  • Data & Reporting: Enter, track, and analyze damage and repair costs; publish weekly repositioning plans and cost reports; provide utilization, aging, and expediting insights to business leaders.
  • Financial Controls: Support empty repositioning budgets; process inland invoices; validate payments to prevent over- or duplicate billing; collaborate with pricing to ensure accurate detention and demurrage billing with third-party vendors.
  • KPI & Process Excellence: Collaborate with business units to establish, monitor, and report KPIs; implement and improve processes that strengthen equipment tracking and reporting.
  • Systems Expertise & Improvement: Develop expertise in M&R tracking systems; recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives; collaborate with Transportation on policies and systems for equipment delinquency.
Be a Strategic Partner Across Operations
Work cross-functionally to align equipment strategy with service reliability and cost discipline.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Communicate effectively with operations teams, terminal partners, and union workforces to align priorities and execution.
