WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Registration Coordinator plays a vital role in providing comprehensive assistance and executing various tasks related to event registration attendee support. Key responsibilities include promptly responding to attendee emails, managing attendee travel details, updating registration records, generating reports, and providing support to registration managers on additional projects as required. This position demands exceptional communications skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Respond to attendee inquiries and concerns via email in a warm and professional manner.
  • Provide detailed information to attendees about event schedules, activities, locations, and other misc. logistics.
  • Assist attendees with registration, housing, and travel related inquiries via email correspondence.
  • Address attendee complaints or issues with empathy and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Escalate complex attendee inquiries or issues to appropriate team members or management as needed.
  • Collaborate with other attendee support coordinators to ensure consistent and high-quality support across all channels.
  • Stay informed about event updates, changes, and announcements to provide up-to-date information to attendees.
  • Handle all proprietary information as confidential.

COMPETENCIES
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Previous experience in customer service or email support role preferred.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple email inquiries simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Empathetic and patient demeanor with a focus on providing exceptional attendee experiences.
  • Proficiency in using email management tools and customer service software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in event management, registration, hospitality, or a related field a plus.
  • Must show personal and professional integrity, commitment to excellence, and high standards.
  • Self-directed and deadline-driven, with an ability to make sound decisions while managing priorities and projects within a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance, both independently and as a member of cross functional teams.
  • Microsoft Office suite program experience required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.)
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload on multiple projects & events simultaneously.
  • Successfully perform in a high stress, fast paced environment.
  • Portray professional presence through superior communication, presentation, promptness, and appearance.
  • Ability to learn new platforms quickly.

HOW WE’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting salary for this role is between $49,000 to $52,000. Our salary ranges are based on third-party national average market compensation analysis. The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Physical Requirements:
Individuals will be required to sit for the majority of the day and will be required to stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required.  Individuals will be required to travel via airplane, train, taxi, car and/or other means of transportation as needed.
