WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a matchmaker, someone who understands the roles on a project team, the appropriate skill set required and also that special spark of personality and chemistry to make a project successful.   You will manage and develop the Resource team to successfully staff projects to ensure we have balanced workloads within the creative and production teams in addition to delivering success to our clients. This position is broadly responsible for growing and solidifying the internal FTE and contractor base to support the delivery of work aligned to the Tencue creative roadmap, ensuring teams are organized to work effectively and collaboratively and prepared to deliver the highest quality of deliverables for both existing and prospective clients, as well as Tencue’s internal teams. This role will focus on implementing new ways of working, driving change within the organization and influencing the adoption of an organized workflow and staffing management system and implementing best practices across teams. 

 

YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • 5  years experience - preferably within production, creative services or events related fields

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead meetings to structure staffing planning grids and assist in assigning FTE and contractors to client work, ensuring the most suitable talent is assigned to each project while optimizing utilization of each individual. 
  • Maximize the FTE experience by putting people first, balancing career desires with business needs.
  • Manage the development and upkeep of a database of active freelance resources, vet freelance talent and grow a roster of local and remote resources by improving scoping and recruitment processes including management of Tencue Linked In profile.
  • Partner with the Executive Creative Director and VP of Production to build the Creative community and staff creative projects effectively.
  • Partner with Creative Services Manager from MAS and Media Manager from Opus to identify opportunities to bridge connectivity and share resources and ideas across the OHG family.
  • Recommend innovative approaches and methods to drive continual improvements in strategic objectives, productivity, and staffing development within the company keeping the 4 guiding principles front of mind.
  • Diagnose problems and identify and drive appropriate solutions, striking the right balance between speed/flexibility and process/infrastructure.
  • Developing and helping implement improvements to our existing staffing framework and processes including onboarding freelancers with proper creative briefs, project fact sheets and permissions (BOX, Drive, Getty, etc).
  • Ensuring a strong governance of our staffing process and media tools.
  • Monitoring staff utilization with Finance for the purposes of creating effective teams. Analyze weekly/quarterly utilization data to provide insight into internal team capacity and external agency support needed.
  • Partnering with Producers in ensuring project plans and clear Roles and Responsibilities grids are established and documented.
  • Working with the COO and Executive Leadership team in identifying the need for additional resources and participating in the hiring process.
  • Serve as Super User/Lead on Workflow Management software (Monday.com, SMS, Iconik, etc)
  • Validating short term contract needs and triaging freelance requests in partnership with Finance, VP Production and Production leads.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will manage the Resourcing Manager and Resourcing Coordinator.

Physical Requirements:

Individuals will be required to sit for the majority of the day and will be required to stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required.  Individuals will be required to travel via airplane, train, taxi, car and/or other means of transportation as needed.
