Hours/Duration: Project duration/need may vary - typically 3-5 months engagement at 5-15 hours/week. Also typically includes an onsite week (or remote onsite support)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
 
The Event Technology & Registration Project Manager – Digital Lead will serve as the main point of contact for the client stakeholder. This is a client-facing role, which will work directly alongside Opus Project Managers, Technical Architects, Attendee Support personnel, and platform partners to deliver unforgettable experiences and delight our Fortune 500 corporate client.
 
YOU SHOULD HAVE 
  • 4+ years of experience in a relevant role
  • Experience in Rainfocus
  • Proven experience in pre-event project management and digital event execution
  • PREFERRED: Experience with session content management and tools & digital content streaming
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • Active participant in team and client meetings, creating agendas, documenting meeting outcomes, and distributing notes
  • Create and maintain build specifications documenting platform functionality
  • Receiving content from applicable event teams for implementation Rainfocus
  • Communicate workstream timeline, flagging upcoming deliverables
  • Completes projects within hourly goal and budgetary requirements by using the most efficient methods to execute tasks
  • Demonstrates proficiency in using known and new digital tools and platforms, including understanding how functionality impacts user experience and troubleshooting technical solutions
  • Event day-of support (remote)

  • Microsoft Office suite program experience (Outlook, Excel, OneNote); Excel and spreadsheet experience strongly preferred.
  • Language skills - Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural instructions. Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, or the public. Ability to interact both on a one-to-one and group basis.
  • Mathematical skills - Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to create, monitor and understand budgets, debits, credits, and reconciliation.
  • Reasoning skills - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
TRAVEL AND FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE REQUIRED
 
This contract position does not require travel to attend events. However, supporting the execution of the digital event by being fully available on event dates is required. 
  
HOW WE’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU
 
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting rate range for this role is between $75.00-$85.00 per hour. The actual rate is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The rate range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Individuals will be required to sit for the majority of the day and will be required to stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Individuals may be required to travel via airplane, train, taxi, car and/or other means of transportation, as needed.
