The Motley Fool’s purpose is to make the world smarter, happier, and richer. And when you join us on that mission, we hope to make you smarter, happier, and richer, too.
Fools from all corners of the world share a love of business — understanding why they succeed and fail, studying the leaders of the great ones, and investing in the ones that we think are going to change the world. Studying these businesses allows us to better evolve and invest in our favorite company: The Motley Fool. With every Fool tuned into the economics of great businesses, including our own, we can achieve our purpose of making the world smarter, happier, and richer. We share this love of business with our members, and we want to share it with you, too.
We’re known for our generous perks and benefits, but if you ask Fools why they love their jobs, you’ll get a different answer. Year after year, our employees tell us they love coming to work at The Motley Fool because of the purpose they believe in, the autonomy to do their best work, and the opportunity to tackle challenges alongside other supportive Fools.
Sound like good reasons to love your job? Then join us! Together, we will change the financial futures of millions of people around the world.

Our Locations
We are a distributed workplace, committed to a flexible experience for all Fools around the world. We do not require employees to come to an office every day, however, we provide intentional connection opportunities at our Virginia, Colorado, Sydney and Gold Coast offices on a regular basis. Employees are encouraged to locally gather for connection and collaboration on monthly Sync Days and yearly Foolapalooza events. We supply Fools with all tools needed to work from home, an office, or anywhere in-between to ensure work can be done, wherever they may choose to do so!
USA Perks & Benefits
You can’t get smarter, happier, and richer without a few perks along the way. Here are a few of our favorite benefits!

No “Vacation Policy”
Since The Motley Fool was founded, we have never tracked vacation or sick leave. Our policy is simple: Take what you need.
Richer
401K
Retirement planning is in our blood. Our members come to us for retirement planning, and we are ready to help our employees, too. We’ll help you make the most of your 401(k) and match it up to 6%.
Stock Up
Every Fool is an investor! Within your first year as a Fool, new hires get $1,000 to invest, and another $1,000 every year after that.
Competitive Salaries + Equity
We review salaries four times a year to ensure we remain market-competitive, and every full-time Fool is a shareholder. In addition to new hire equity grants, Fools are eligible for equity awards to recognize outstanding performance.
But wait, there’s more!
In fact, there’s A LOT more.
