Deputy Editor – South Korea

Description

We are looking for a journalist who will join our team specialized in M&A, IPO and business news in South Korea. The successful candidate should have minimum 5-6 years’ reporting experience, strong work ethic, and the ability to break news.

The candidate will report on public market deals and trends, providing insight to regional and international readers. You also should feel comfortable networking with decision makers and advisors.  

The candidate will also work closely with the South Korea Bureau Chief and Asia-Pacific editors to enhance the team, M&A coverage and regional offerings within the group. Knowledge of South Korean capital market and English news editing skills will be a plus.

 
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Native in Korean and fluency in English (articles will be written in English)
  • English news writing/editing experience  
  • The candidate should be a team player and enjoy being a mentor
