Within Havas Media, Ad Ops Specialists liaise with multiple departments, such as planning, buying/ activation, and client accounting teams, to manage traffic on client campaigns and projects in a timely, efficient manner. They coordinate to ensure accurate, on time and orderly flow of all advertising from job initiation to its release and billing. Ad Ops Specialists must adherence to agency procedures for proper trafficking, production, scheduling, and billing of advertisements. They advise management of possible issues that cannot be handled within the scope of traffic authority. Provides feedback and alerts account and client service teams to foster and maintain communications for a smooth, efficient flow of work and billings.


  • Manage and traffic campaigns in DCM/ Sizmek
  • Oversee media tracking and analytics set up and implementation
  • Active participation in media planning discussions regarding trafficking strategies and related operational issues
  • Improve data quality by collaborating with the media, analytics and Artemis teams to ensure campaigns are structured in a way to produce optimal data outputs
  • QA ads to ensure they meet site specs and ad server requirements
  • Troubleshoot issues with ads or tags
  • Generate, QA, and troubleshoot implementation of conversion tags
  • Resolve discrepancies with Analytics team
  • Participated in all operations functions within the agency, including monitoring status of jobs daily, preparing weekly job status reports for account management, creative and production, and conducting recurring Ad Ops team meetings
  • Broadcast Traffic Prepares broadcast instructions in cooperation with account management and traffic radio and TV tapes to the stations per media schedules
  • Talent Payments Processes AFTRA reports and W-4s and forwards them to talent payment agency; also handles talent reuse and upgrades


  • 1-3 years of Ad Ops experience; preference for media agency background
  • Undergraduate degree in relevant field of study preferred; if candidate does not possess a degree, then 5 years related experience in agency setting is required
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Extensive trafficking experience with Doubleclick and/ or Sizmek
  • Understanding of rich media, dynamic creative, mobile and video ads units
  • Knowledge of HTML and/ or JavaScript
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed to work in a cross functional company environment
  • Strong computer skills, including word processing and familiarity with computerized traffic/ accounting system
  • Capacity to synthesize data to identify themes and create reports
  • Ability to manage simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced technology-oriented environment
